A Day at the Park

Shopping and Driving!

So we went to the mall on Valentine's day as a family and Reese was so good while we shopped. And we it was time to leave it was raining so Jeff ran to get the car and then picked Reese and I up at the front. I just hopped in the front seat with her and we pulled around and park so we could buckle her in properly, just in case anyone was wondering. Of course before we buckled her in she had to "drive" some. As you can see she was loving it. So cute, but she can take her sweet time on getting behind the wheel and driving for herself. We are in no hurry for that!

So Reese loves to climb up on her walker and in doing so she busted her lip for the first time. It wasn't too bad, but she did it twice in the same day. So in order for me to put something cold on her mouth I gave her a cold, wet rag and she chewed on it. She's had a few other bumps since then, but she's a trooper.

Our little girl loves to walk along the furniture and now climb over things in her way. She was really enjoying herself. She likes to try to open the drawer on the side table. I have a feeling she'll be climbing out of her crib in no time, what will I do!

Big people food!

So I started table foods for Reese and she loved bananas so why not start there. First she wasn't sure what to do with them, but then she figured it out and enjoyed it. But two days later I get a call from her allergist and the allergy test results tell us she's allergic to bananas. So no more bananas. And we also found out wheat, oats, milk, egg whites, and peas were also on the list. So needless to say our table foods have become limited. She loved her puffs but they have wheat. A few days later my mom reminded me of how we use to give her oatmeal baths and soaked her for 15 minutes. No wonder her skin was so irratated. We live and we learn! I am now on the hunt for snack foods, crakers and cereals that she can eat. I may have found some online and I'll have to order them, or I may try whole foods first. Anyways, just another day in the life of Reese D Ford. Isn't she cute!!!!
